By Buhle Booi - Former Cape Town City and Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Bhongolethu Jayiya opens up to Sky Football Magazine about his experiences at Kaizer Chiefs.
"Obviously when a team like Chiefs, Sundowns or Pirates comes for you, you don't think about competition. Cape Town City actually never wanted me to go but I pushed for the exit because their representatives were making me offers I couldn't resist."
"Kaizer Chiefs ruined my career because they could've kept me in the team or at least offer me to other teams not terminate my contract."
"What hurts most is the fact that on the day they terminated my contract my friend had passed away and it was like the world was coming to an end for me. I can't find a team now but I will keep on working hard to get back into shape."
