Another blow has hit the Nigeria Professional Football League as Abia Warriors Goalkeeper Charles Tambe was shot by hoodlums at Apata Area of Ibadan where he resides with his family as the League is currently on suspension due Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
In recent weeks Nigeria Football have been hit with different sad cases of death and others, following the death of Remo Stars Defender Tiamiyu Kazeem, Nasarawa United player Chineme Martins, Enugu Rangers forward Ifeanyi George, Lobi Stars fire incident among others.
Report says Charles Tambe has been rushed to UCH Ibadan for medical attention has he was shot on his hand.
In the incident that occurred at around 7:00am earlier today at Apata Area of Ibadan, Charles Tembe's Wrist Watch and Phone were collected by the Hoodlums.
Abia Warriors Sporting Director, Patrick Ngwaogu also confirmed the incident.
