Ajax Terminates Abdelhak Nouri's Contract just a Week after Coming Out of Coma

Ajax have cancelled Abdelhak Nouri's contract just a week after the talented midfielder awoke from coma since 2017.

The 22-year-old has a pre-agreed deal of 12-month extension in his current deal, but the Dutch team will no longer honour that agreement but prefer a settlement between them and the family. The family and the club are expected to come together and reach an agreement on how much they are going to pay the player as compensation. Abdelhak Nouri contract is due for renewal by July 1 but the contract will no longer be renewed.
Though the family and Ajax are currently in disagreement  as they accused Ajax of not giving the player proper treatment on the pitch immediately the incident happened, the player also sustained what is considered as severe and permanent brain damage after the incident of July 2017.
Nouri suffered a cardiac arrhythmia in July 2017 in a preseason game with German side Werder Bremen and has since then being in coma.

During the spell of the player in coma, Ajax paid all the expected wages until now.

Could this be the best way for Ajax to resolve things with the family of Abdelhak Nouri?

    1. Well, he should just go and manage the compensation that will be given to him.
