Liverpool set new Premier League record

Liverpool on Saturday evening have set a new record after a 4-0 smashing of Southampton in the game week 25 of the English Premier League, they are now 22 points clear on the log.

Goals from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Jordan Henderson with a brace from Mohamed Salah were enough to sealed the victory for the Reds.

Liverpool have now recorded 100 points from their last 102 games. They have also saved a total of 73 points this season from a possible 75. This means Liverpool is the first team to have ever had such biggest lead at this stage in the history of the English Premier League.
