Arsenal target Pablo Mari has returned to Brazil. The 26-year-old Flamengo defender travelled to the Emirates Stadium over the weekend to discuss a possible move to the North London club as the January transfer window is coming to close.

A deal supposed to have followed the discussion but report claims that the defender has flown back to Brazil disappointed following hitch in negotiations between Gunners and Flamengo.

The deal may still go through if both club comes to agreement. Nigfooty.Com gathered that Arsenal hope of signing the player is not lost.
