Nigfooty.com gathered that Pablo Mari move to the Emirates Stadium is imminent as Arsenal and Flamengo have reached an agreement.

Arsenal reached an agreement with Flamengo to sign Spanish International Pablo Mari on loan with an option to buy the player in the summer.

The Flamengo centre-back is expected to join Arsenal until the end of the season.

The 26-year-old Spaniard was in London over the weekend to have his medical but could not undergo the medical as Arsenal were unable to meet Flamengo's demands on the player.

The deal could become success within the next 48 hours as the January transfer window closes on January 31.
