Nkem Akaraiwe receives $15k from Federal Ministry of Sports

First Bank and D'Tigress player, Nkem Akaraiwe has received a sum of $15,000 from the Federal Ministry of Sports for the treatment of her torn Anterior Cruciate Ligament while representing Nigeria.

Nigfooty.com can report that Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has already given Nkem a sum of $10,000 for same purpose.
The Nigeria Basketball Federation NBF made the announcement of their official Facebook page on Saturday which read as, "End of discussion!!!! D'Tigress and First Bank player,  Nkem Akaraiwe got $15k from the Ministry of Sports for the treatment of her torn Anterior Cruciate Ligament while on national duty. This will be added to the $10k from Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa."

Nkem can now relax and get proper medical attention. Moreover, this is a good development for Nigeria Sports.
