Manchester United hit with huge transfer blow

Manchester United hope of signing Leicester City Star James Maddison appear to have hit the rocks as the England midfielder is expected to sign an improved deal with his current employer.

The Athletic reports revealed that conversations are ongoing and the deal is expected to go through.

Maddison so far has made 17 appearances for the Foxes this season scoring seven goal and he's expected to reach a new agreement with Leicester ahead of January transfer window. This will be a huge blow to Manchester who already had the midfielder on their transfer list come January.

United believes Maddison is the kind of player that fit their style of play but the 23-year-old midfielder is expected to commit his future to Leicester City.
