Manchester United are in talks with Benfica midfielder Gedson Fernandes over a possible move during January window.

The Portuguese has struggled for game time recently under manager Bruno Lage.

With Solskjaer ready to bolster his midfield during January transfer window, 20-year-old Fernandes will be a better option for United.

According to Sky Sports, Fernandes agents are in UK to discuss a possible loan deal with a £34m option to buy.
