Liverpool confirm travelling squad for FIFA Club World Cup

The Reds have confirmed a 20-man squad travelling to Qatar for the FIFA Club World Cup, on top of the list are; Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Firmino and Van Dijk.

Liverpool have travelled to Qatar Sunday and will enter the tournament in the semi-final stage against Monterrey in Doha on Wednesday.

Nigfooty.com gathered that the team have travelled without one of their regulars Dejan Lovren who is ruled out with injury.

The Croatia International was not listed in the 20-man squad due to the muscle injury he sustained during Tuesday night's 2-0 Champions League victory in Salzburg.
On the other hand, Georginio Wijnaldum looked to have sustained a hamstring injury in Liverpool's 2-0 win over Watford on Saturday in the Premier League but still travelled with the team on Sunday.

In a statement released on the club's official website: "Liverpool have confirmed a 20-man travelling squad for the FIFA World Cup.

Dejan Lovren is not included after sustaining a muscle injury against Salzburg earlier this week, but Georginio Wijnaldum does travel following his withdrawal in the second half of the win over Watford"
