Leicester City Battle Celtic For Ibrahim Sa'id

Leicester City have been linked with a move for Golden Eaglets star and youngster Ibrahim Said.

According to the publication by All Nigeria Soccer claim, Said who is currently an academy player at Dabo Babes, could be set for talks with the King Power stadium hopeful in the new year of 2020.

However, the Foxes aren't alone in chasing the youngster, with Scottish League champions Celtic also reported to be near the front of the queue for the Nigeria under-17 international.
A host of clubs from around Europe have been linked with Said, but City and Celtic are reportedly the two looking to arrange talks with the youngster and his representatives.

Said who has been described and as a 'versatile midfielder' and often compared to Chelsea wing-back Victor Moses, who is currently on loan at Fenerbahce.

He recently scored a hat-trick at the under-17 World Cup in Brazil when Nigeria defeated Ecuador by 3-2 in a Group B encounter to book a place at the Round of 16, eventually losing to Netherlands.

One of his three goals against Ecuador in the Group Stage was nominated for the goal of the tournament by FIFA.

The report claims Portuguese pair Porto and Benfica have also made contact with Said's camp, with Chelsea , Manchester City and others interested too.

City already have two players from Nigeria in their squad in the calibre of Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho  while not long ago, Super Eagles Captain Ahmed Musa was also in the colours of Leicester City.
