Latest Updates: Wilfred Ndidi transfer to Arsenal

Arsenal are ready to offer controversial Swiss player Granit Xhaka plus £40m to secure the service of Nigeria International Wilfred Ndidi from Leicester City.

Mikel Arteta is desperate to offload Granit Xhaka and he's ready to join him to the deal that will land Leicester City star to the Emirates Stadium.

Earlier this season, 27-year-old Xhaka was rude to fans after being booed by the fans against Crystal Palace and it is certain that the Swiss will leave the club after being stripped of Arsenal's lead role.
There is high expection from Arteta to improve Arsenal side who have been struggling since the beginning of the season, an option of Ndidi will help the team to improve. The Leicester City midfielder has appeared 20 times in all Competition for Brendan Rodgers led side this season, scoring two goals against Chelsea and Newcastle.

Xhaka plus £40m is a way to tempt Leicester City to release their in-form midfielder Wilfred Ndidi who is just 23.
