Atletico Madrid have reached agreement with PSG forward Edinson Cavani over a possible move to Spain at the end of this current season.
Cavani who joined Paris Saint-Germain from Napoli in 2013 for a fee believed to be in the region of £55m will have his contract runs out with PSG at the end of the season and will not renew his contract with the French Champions.
Atletico are also looking at the option of bringing the 32-year-old Uruguayan to Spain during January transfer window but have not been able to reach agreement with PSG, if unable to reach an agreement with his current employer, Cavani will join the club in the summer on a free transfer.
