Chelsea Team News ahead of Bournemouth clash

As Chelsea face Bournemouth today in the English Premier League game week 17, one of the huge blow Chelsea has received ahead of the thrilling encounter is star defender Fikayo Tomori not fit for the game.

Fikayo Tomori who missed Chelsea's 2-1 win over Lille in the Champions League during the week is set to miss another crucial game with a hib strain.
Team manager Frank Lampard has also confirmed that the defender will not be available for Saturday's game, "Fikayo Tomori is not fit for the game, following on from the other day. Hopefully he should be training next week," Lampard said in his pre-match press conference.

Tomori who just signed a new five-year contract with the club this week has been solid for Chelsea at the back this season.
On the other hand, Frank Lampard also provided an update on Ruben Loftus-Cheek who has not feature for the Blues this season, the player is still recovering from his Achilles injury. The midfielder is expected to spend more time on the sideline. When Lampard was asked of the possibility of Loftus-Cheek early return, the manager said, "I don't know, I don't know, probably more than weeks."
Chelsea will trade tackles with Bournemouth today in the English Premier League by 4:00PM West Africa Standard Time, same as Nigeria time (15:00 UK Time) at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are currently in 4th position on the English Premier League log with 29 points after 16 games.
