Leicester City in-form Manager Brendan Rodgers has committed his future to the club after signing a new five-and-a-year deal.
Rodgers was recently tipped by many to succeed Arsenal Manager Unai Emery who was fired recently, but it now clear that the handler will remain at the Kings Power Stadium until 2026.
Rodgers who joined the Foxes earlier this year from Celtic and has brought stability and consistency to a shaky Leicester City team since he joined the club.
According to Rodgers, "when I made the decision to come to Leicester City, it was because I was excited about the direction the club was taking and how I could apply my experience to the journey. I came here with the purpose to add something to that and to help the club build for the future," he said.
Leicester are currently second on the log behind Liverpool and could be a major threat to the table-topper hope of winning the English Premier League this season.
