Obuh resigned from his position following the scandalous 3-0 loss to MFM FC of Lagos on Friday. Boboye will seek to turn things around for Akwa United who had a bad start to the 2019/2020 Nigeria Professional Football League season.
There is tendency that the coach would be fired with poor run of the Promise Keepers in the Nigeria Professional Football League this season, but resigning will help the handler to keep his CV in order as he hope to further his coaching career.
