Wife of Late Footballer Pay Emotional Tribute to Husband on his Birthday

Wife of late former Enyimba skipper Chinedu Udoji has paid an emotional tribute to her husband on his supposed birthday.

Mrs Udoji Francis Rosemary Chi couldn't control her emotions for her sweet husband who could have reached the landmark of 30 today if not for death that took him away from mother Earth.

"Happy birthday my love you will forever live in my heart. I miss you so much my love most times I wish you can come back Obim am lonely without you but I thank God for your family and good friends that the Lord is using to support I and our kids. I love you dear" Mrs Udoji Posted on Facebook.

Recall that Chinedu Udoji passed away on the 18th of February 2018 after a tragic car crash at the young age of 28.

The accident happened a few hours after a league game against Enyimba International F.C., his former club. The match ended in a 1-1 draw. It was said that Udoji went to greet his former teammates at their hotel in the night before the incident happened on his way home.

Udoji spent seven years with Enyimba, where he won the Nigerian Premier League in 2010 and 2015 and the Nigeria Federation Cup in 2013 and 2014.

The defender moved to Kano Pillars in 2016.

Udoji is survived by his parents, wife and two children
