Plateau United condemn Jigawa Golden Stars to second consecutive League defeat

Jigawa Golden Stars were condemned to a second consecutive defeat in the Nigeria Professional Football League on Sunday evening, as they were stunned at home by Plateau United with 0-1 scoreline.

Nenrot Silas scored in the 34th minute of the encounter to earn Plateau United the first away win of the season. Lack of defensive
composure between Goalkeeper Suleiman Abdullahi and Ibrahim Umar gifted Nenrot Silas a cheap goal to give Plateau the lead.
Both teams were unable to get to the back of the net in the second 45 minute, as the game ended 0-1 in favour of the visitors on Sunday Evening.

Plateau United are still on top of the log with 6 points after two games, while Jigawa Golden Stars are at the bottom of the table.

After the entire game time, it Jigawa Golden Stars 0-1 Plateau United, so it ended in the Matchday 2 of the NPFL between Jigawa Golden Stars and Plateau United.
