NPFL: The biggest surprise of Matchday 3

The Nigeria Professional Football League Matchday 3 fixtures are full of surprises across different centres in Nigeria, the biggest of all the surprises is Lobi Stars defeating Kano Pillar in front of their home fans in Kano.

It is often believed that no team can beat Kano Pillars in Kano, reasons being that, no referee wanted to be attacked, and their fans are motivating enough to even mount pressure on their opponents and share the team to victory.
In recent time, no team has defeated Pillars in Kano, the best result any team can always get against Pillars is a draw, except for continental fixtures. It is difficult to believe that Kano Pillars lost a league match in Kano.

Moreover, in times of qualities and recent form, Kano Pillars are better compared to Lobi Stars who would have ordinary approached the match with the aim of getting an away draw.

2019/2020 season of the Nigeria Professional Football League is bringing some excitements to the league, unlike past seasons, where the home team must win at all cost. Moreover, situations when the home team are the losing side, it always resulted into violence.

I think our fans are beginning to have the orientation of what being a fan means, with the recent and latest development, there is hope for Nigeria Football.
