MFM FC of Lagos on Sunday stunned Heartland FC of Owerri in their opening game of the 2019/2020 Season of the Nigeria Professional Football League, 1-0 it ended in favour of Olukoya Boys, making MFM the first club to win an away game in the 2019/2020 League season.
Clement Ogu 36th minute strike was what the Church team needed to bag the entire 3 points from the thrilling encounter at Okigwe.
It was the first game for the 'working one' Fidelis Ilechukwu as the the Head Coach of Heartland FC, but his effect could not prevent his former team from getting the maximum three points from the game.
After the entire game time, it Heartland FC 0-1 MFM FC. This is the first away win in this season for the Nigeria Professional Football League.
