Ekong Signs Contract Extension with Udinese

Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong has penned an extension with Italian Seria A side Udinese Calcio till 2023.
Ekong 26 who is an ever present in the Le Zebrette defence has officially extended his stay in Italy for at least another four years after impressing club owner Giampaolo Pozzo and club president Franco Soldati.

The Nigerian assistant skipper joined Udinese in 2018 from Turkish side Bursaspor and played 34 times in their 12th place league finish.

Udinese are currently in 12th on the 2019/2020 Seria A table with 13 points after week 11 as they hope to finish better than last term with the tactical assistant of interim manager, Luca Gotti.
