Everton playmaker, Alex Iwobi is the most important Super Eagles Player in 2019 according to statistics released by online source dedicated to the Super Eagles, Soar Super Eagles.

Alex Iwobi whose time with the National team has span four years is the most trusted Gernot Rohr warrior after playing all the Super Eagles matches in 2019.

The 23-year-old featured in all the competitive games starting from the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier against Seychelles in the month of March to all the seven matches at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt with Nigeria finishing third out of two dozens that participated.
However, the former Arsenal football club star scored only two goals in the 14 matches with the two goals coming in competitive matches as one came in the 3-2 victory over Cameroon at the second round of the Africa Cup of Nations while another one came in the latest 4-2 win over Lesotho in an Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier few days ago in Maseru.

Nigeria's soccer faithfuls have appealed to team manager Gernot Rohr to provide stern competition for Alex Iwobi as it appears that he currently lacks skillful and serious competitors with Queens Park Rangers talisman Eberechi Eze tipped to dislodge him.
