ABSA Premiership: Kaizer Chiefs show class in Soweto derby

The much expected Soweto derby came alive today in the ABSA Premier League, it was Kaizer Chiefs that showed supremacy over Orlando Pirates, 3-2 it ended in favour of Chiefs.

An own goal from Ntsikelelo Nyauza earned Chiefs the first goal in the first minute of the encounter.

In the 28th minute, Leonardo Castro brilliant header fired Chiefs to a 2-0 lead. Eleven minutes later Maliele Vincent Pule put one back for Pirates via a superb free-kick to end the first half 2-1 in favour of Chiefs.
In the 60th minute of the game, Gabadinho Mhango got the equaliser for Pirates and take the scoreline to 2-2.

The moment of the game was in the 84th minute when Chiefs got the winning goal from the spot, thanks to Daniel Cardoso's well-taken spot kick that earned Kaizer Chiefs the victory in the Soweto derby.

Kaizer Chiefs remain on top of the table with 28 points after 11 games.

After the entire game time, it Kaizer Chiefs 3-2 Orlando Pirates, so it ended in the Soweto derby on Saturday evening.
