Super Eagles land in Singapore

Not less than 200 Nigerians will be welcoming the Super Eagles when they arrive Singapore today, ahead of Sunday’s friendly against Brazil.

The 23-man squad billed for the clash will storm the Asian city alongside other technical members and top officials of the Nigeria Football Federation.

Vice President of Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation, Singapore Chapter, Dr. Jonathan Obaje, in an interview with News Agency Of Nigeria [NAN] said the country currently accommodates 200 Nigerians.

The Eagles are expected to get a rousing welcome on arrival, just as the Brazilians who were mobbed by fans in the early hours of Monday in Singapore.
Meanwhile, Singaporean fans have tagged red-hot striker, Victor Osihmen, and Samuel Chukwueze poster boys of the Nigerian side. To this end, an Italia media outlet, Bleacher report, on their portal, named the duo as poster boys for the tie.

Osihmen currently leads French Ligue 1 goal chart with seven goals for the former french champion. His goal record has seen him beat Brazilian star man, Neymar, in France.

Villarreal’s Chukwueze is also on top form and have received several accolades from Spanish fans.
