Anglo-Nigerian, Viv Efosa Solomon-Otabor of PFC CSKA Sofia, Bulgaria has been called up by Coach Gernot Rohr to replace injured Bordeaux winger, Samuel Kalu for the 13th October friendly against Brazil in Singapore.
The decision was officially announced on the Nigeria Football Federation social media account on Sunday ahead of the highly anticipated exhibition with the Selecão.
Much fancied Samuel Kalu confirmed his unreadiness after failing to recover from the thigh injury sustained on club duty.
Not so long ago,Solomon-Otabor pledges to play for his country of birth, Nigeria.
The London-born Nigerian winger has roots to former Super Eagles player Thompson Oliha, who is his uncle.
Solomon-Otabor, 23, was born in London to parents originally from Edo state, Nigeria. Victor-Banks Otabor, his father, played for Bendel Insurance, NNPC, and Eagle Oil before moving abroad.
