Onazi Play Down Transfer Rumours

Forgotten Super Eagles midfielder, Ogenyi Eddy Onazi have played down transfer rumours linking him with a move away from Turkey.

The 26-year-old who is currently on the books of Trabzonspor alongside compatriots, John Obi Mikel and Anthony Nwakaeme and have adopted Trabzon as his second home .

"Turkey is my second home, while Trabzonspor is my family. I am not thinking about transfer to any team. I'm here to succeed. We are fighting for all of us Trabzonspor. Thank you and I love you all."

Onazi, shared via his Turkish social media account.

After returning from back from a career threatening injury, Eddy lay more emphasis on commitment.

"It was a very difficult 8 months for me, but I am in a good condition now. I will not betray those who trust and believe in me. I will pay my debt to TRABZONSPOR."

The ex-El Kanemi Warrior joined Trabzonspor Profesyonel Futbol Takımı nicknamed Karadeniz Fırtınası in 2016 from traditional Italian side, Lazio.
