The biggest encounter of game week 9 between Manchester United and Liverpool ended in a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford. Liverpool were lucky to have grabbed a late equalizer in the thriller.
Marcus Rashford opened scoring for United in the 36th minute of encounter after receiving a superb cross from James to give United the lead in the first half, and to end the first 45 minutes 1-0 in favour of Manchester United.
Liverpool struggled in both half to get an equaliser, but could only get the equaliser in the 85th minute following a superb strike from Lallana. A well structured team work from Liverpool leading to a wonderful cross from Robertson to unmarked Adam Lallana in the United area earned Liverpool a huge equaliser.
Liverpool are dropping points for the first time this season in the English Premier League, but the remained unbeaten.
Klopp led side were better in possession of ball but failed to hit the back of the net until the 85th minute, making Manchester United to loose their 1-0 lead.
After 90 minutes, it Manchester United 1-1 Liverpool, so it ended at the Old Trafford on a Sunday evening.
