Madagascar have pulled out of the international friendly against South Africa due to xenophobic attacks, Nigeria Football and Others media reports.
According to a press statement by the South African Football Association on Thursday.
"SAFA regrets to inform the public that the match between Bafana Bafana and Madagascar scheduled for this coming Saturday (7 September) has been called off after the visitors (Madagascar) decided to withdraw from the encounter." due to Xenophobia.
Madagascar is the second country to withdraw from an international exhibition with South Africa. Recall that the Football Association of Zambia few days ago withdrew from a scheduled fixture for same date with their rainbow neighbour and the Chipolopolo will instead play the Brave Warriors of Namibia on Monday September 9 in Windhoek.
