Chelsea striker, Tammy Abraham has come out to clear the airwaves about the controversy surrounding his international future.
The 21-year-old former Aston Villa striker has been a media topic in the Nigerian and British medium over his national camp.
Abraham,who has four league goals for Chelsea this term was reported to have set an April 2020 target before concluding about whether to play for Nigeria or to continue representing England.
“I set no such deadline on playing for England or deciding my international allegiance and I remain committed to breaking into Gareth Southgate’s senior squad soonest,” Tammy Abraham stated.
“I strongly believe that I have a realistic chance of making the cut against Czech Republic and Bulgaria and that might make me glued to the Three Lions.” he concludes.
The youngster made his senior national team debut in 2017 and has feature for the Three Lions twice.
