Liverpool's Virgil Van Dijk has won UEFA Men's Player of the Year award, the Netherlands defender beat Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo to win the award on Thursday.
Van Dijk superb outing in the 2018/2019 season also earned him been voted the PFA Player of the year for last season.
He won the Champions League with Liverpool last season, being outstanding as a centre-back in the English Premier League, producing some outstanding display in the defence.
The Netherlands defender received the award at the Thursday's Champions League draw ceremony.
