The Nigeria U17 National Team, Golden Eaglets, are expected to resume camp this week in Abuja ahead of Brazil 2019 FIFA U17 World Cup that will kickoff in October.
Players have been selected and invited to resume camp in Abuja to kickoff their preparation for the tournament.
Notable names expected to be in the list of invited players are; Segun Kunle and Akin Amoo who were also part of the U17 Africa Championship in Tanzania.
Golden Eaglets are in Group B alongside Hungary, Ecuador and Australia, and will kickoff their World Cup Campaign at Estádio Olimpico, Goiânia, against Hungary on October 26, before their second game on October 29 against Ecuador at same venue and will move to Estádio Bezerrão, Gama, where they will play the final group game against Australia on November 1.
Nigeria is the most successful team of the competition, having won the title five times and will seek for their 6th title when the 18th Edition of the FIFA U17 World Cup kicks off in Brazil in October.
