After a 17-year of memorable career, former Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Netherlands midfielder Wesley Sneijder has retired from Football.
The 35-year-old Dutchman represented his country 134 times and was instrumental to Netherlands second place finish in the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
Sneijder hailed from the Ajax youth team, winning the Eredivisie title and two Dutch Cup with the main team and moved on to join Real Madrid in 2007 where he won the Spanish La Liga before joining Inter Milan.
The midfielder enjoyed a good outings with the Italian Giants in 2010 as they won Coppa Italia, the Scudetto and moreover the UEFA Champions League.
The Dutchman also represented Galatasaray in Turkey and French Ligue 1 side Nice before heading to Al Gharafa in Qatar League.
Sneijder has now settled with his hometown club FC Utrecht where he has been handed a new role.
