Dream Stars Ladies of Lagos on Wednesday were defeated by Heartland Queens in the Nigeria Women Premier League match day 4, the game ended 2-0.
After a goalless first 45 minutes, Njoku Chinyere opened scoring for the Owerri Based Team in the 53rd minute via a superb header.
Heartland Queens push for goals was evident, as they added another goal before the close of the second half, thanks to Idike Jiroro for the goal.
The Dream Stars Ladies of Lagos have played four games this season and have lost three out of those four, winning just one, the team will seek to redeem their image in their next match to avoid relegation.
The Lagos based team are now on the bottom of Group B with 3 points, while Heartland Queens are in the third position on the same log with 4 points.
