Basketball: D'Tigers are the winner of the 2019 Peak Invitational Tournament in China

The Nigeria Male Basketball Team D'Tigers are the winner of the 2019 PEAK Invitational Tournament in China.

The team in their first game defeated Poland after a hard fight, and moved on to defeat Montenegro in the gold medal game on Sunday, it ended 89-86 in favour of Nigeria.

As the D'Tigers continue to prepare for the FIBA World Cup, the team head coach Alex Nwora is expected to name his final squad for the tournament. Nigeria will play their first game against Russia on the 31st of August.

This is the first time Nigeria will be winning the tournament.
