Tammy Abraham the hero as Lampard gets first win of the season

After a slow start into the new English Premier League season, Frank Lampard has finally gotten his first win of the season as Chelsea defeated Norwich by 3-2 at the Carrow Road Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Chelsea got the first goal of the game from a brilliant effort from Tammy Abraham in the 3rd minute of the encounter, after receiving a lovely cross from Chelsea's captain, Ceaser Azpilicueta following a fine run from the right wing. Todd Cantwell restored parity to Norwich three minutes later after a fine run with the ball from Teemu Pukki was well delivered to Cantwell who placed the ball through Kepa's legs into the back of the net.

In the 17th minute, Lampard's men were on top of their game with Mason Mount grabbing the second goal for the Blues via Pulisic's pass as Norwich failed to clear the ball off their area, Chelsea took advantage of Farke's men failure and had the lead for the second time in the game.

Fifteen minutes to the end of the first half Teemu Pukki took advantage of Chelsea's defence and fired home a superb ball to bring Farke's men into the game once again. The forward has now scored 5goals in three matches this season, making him the current top scorer of the new season.


Tammy Abraham became the hero when he got the winning goal for Chelsea in the 68th minute of the game, the Englishman benefited from a counter launched by Kepa, before Kovacic delivered the ball to Abraham who run two Norwich's defender to place the ball past Krul.

Chelsea have now recorded four points from three games, as Lampard continue to build the team with young players.

After 90 minutes, it Norwich 2-3 Chelsea, so it ended at the Carrow Road Stadium.
