The Nigeria National Female U20 side, Falconets on Thursday defeated Cameroon National U20 team on penalties after a 0-0 draw in regular and extra time of the 2019 African Games, 3-2 it ended in favour of the Falconets.
Goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie saved three penalties for Nigeria during the shootout to earn the Falconets a 3-2 victory in the 2019 African Games in Rabat, Morocco.
Nigeria clinched gold in the Women's Football event following a warm victory over the Cameroonians.
This is the third time Nigeria will be winning the event after appearing in five editions.
