Super Eagles' Samuel Kalu in stable condition after early fear

Nigeria winger, Samuel Kalu was reported to have suffered heart attack after collapsing in training ahead of the AFCON 2019.

Kalu collapsed while trying to take a corner not because of heart attack like earlier thought but dehydration. Kalu was immediately attended to by the medicals and he is said to be in a stable condition and ready to continue training. Kalu would be available for the game against Burundi.

NFF media officer, Demola Olajire debunk the fear with a confident and strong statement backing the readiness of the 21-year-old FC Girondins de Bordeaux star.
"I have been told Samuel Kalu has been stabilised. He was taken to hospital for tests and he is certified okay. He was dehydrated, they said.

He told him he needs to be taking enough fluids."

Super Eagles will be kicking off their Total Africa Cup of Nations Campaign against Burundi on Saturday with eyes on many youngsters including Samuel Kalu.
