The first half of the build-up ended in a null score for both parties with the hosts missing a penalty.
Taha Khenissi scored the first goal for Tunisia in the 66th minute of the game while Burundi star, Cedrid Hamissi made a sweet return by netting the leveller ten minutes later.
French born Tunisian international Naïm Sliti, scored the second and the winning goal on the dot of regulation time to seal a hard fought victory for the North Africans over Burundi Swallows.
Burundi drew against Algeria in their first exhibition match.
Burundi Swallows are set to make their debut in the 2019 Total Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt and will start their campaign on the 22nd of June against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in Alexandria.
