Kano Pillars goalkeeper, Suraj Ayeleso have clinch the best goalkeeper award of the just concluded Nigeria Professional League Super Six playoff held in Lagos.
The former Kwara United custodian won the accolade based on several criteria which includes Number of Penalty Save, Goal Conceded, Number of Clean Sheet, Yellow Card, Red Card among other.
Ayeleso who is a graduate of Human Kinetics from the University of Ilorin beat off challenges with 13 points and was closely followed by Emmanuel Iwu of FC Ifeanyi Ubah at 10 points.
Recall that Suraj Ayeleso was the best Nigeria Professional League goalkeeper of 2016/2017 season with 15 astonishing clean sheets for Nasarawa United and the Performance facilitated his move to Kano Pillars.
Enyimba are the 2019 Nigeria Professional League winners while Kano Pillars are runner-up with both securing CAF Champion League tickets for next season.
