Faith Michael out of France 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup

Nigeria Super Falcons defender Faith Michael is out of France 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup following a knee injury she sustained on Saturday in Nigeria's opening game, a match in which the Super Falcons lost 3-0 to Norway.
The Nigerians will be without the right-back when they face Korea Republic in their second match of the tournament.

It is a big blow for Nigeria and the Pitea IF of Sweden defender. Chidinma Nkeruka Okeke is expected to replace the injured defender in Nigeria's starting line-up when they face Korea Republic in today's encounter.
