Liverpool will today lock horns with fellow English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur in the final of the 2018/2019 UEFA Champions League at Wanda Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid.
Both teams qualified for the final after a miraculous comeback from their first leg semi-final defeat in the second leg semi-final games against Barcelona and Ajax.
The match kickoff time is 20:00 West Africa Standard Time (same as Nigeria Time) on Saturday 1st of June 2019.
42-year-old Damir Skomina will serve as the centre referee, Jure Praprotnik and Robert Vukan will work as the first and second assistants respectively, all from Slovenia, while Antonio Miguel Mateu Lahoz from Spain has been appointed as the match fourth official for the all-English-final encounter.
Liverpool will be heading to their 6th title, but Tottenham Hotspur will be marking their first appearance in the UEFA Champions League Final and will hope to win the title for the first time.
