Ruben Loftus-Cheek has stated clearly that it will be an underachieved season for Chelsea Football Club if they fail to qualify for the next season UEFA Champions League.
The 23-year-old midfielder why speaking with news men said if the Mauricio Sarri led team should miss out of the Champions League Football next season then its an underachieved season for the team as a whole.
The England star man said, "Chelsea are one of the biggest clubs in the world and we definitely need to be playing in the Champions League every season. It's down to us and if we don't, I think we've underachieved."
"We have a good team that has great potentials. The Champions League is the best of the best," Loftus-Cheek smiled. "We watch these games as a team and you want to play in the Champions League next season. It is motivational to watch these games and feel the atmosphere."
Loftus-Cheek has been in fine form this season and has forced his way into Chelsea starting XI after overcoming recent back injury problem.
