Victor Osimhen's hat-trick seals AFCON qualifier comeback for Nigeria U23

Nigeria wonder kid Victor Osimhen scored a hat-trick to revive Nigeria hope of playing in the 2019 U23 Africa Cup of Nations.
The 20-year-old Wolfsburg Loanee put Nigeria ahead in the 33rd minute to take the scoreline to 1-2 on aggregate. Two minutes late, Chukwueze free kick hit the woodwork as Nigeria continue to search for the second goal. The first half ended 1-0 in favour of Nigeria and 1-2 on aggregate in favour of Libya.

The second half resumed with a lot of expectations, as Dream Team VII seek to redeem their image. It was Oshimhen again who doubled Nigeria lead in the 67th minute, taking advantage of an error from Libya goalie.

In the 81st minute, Osimhen made it a hat-trick for himself, giving Nigeria a comfortable lead that is enough to send the Dream Team VII to the final round of the qualifiers, with the scoreline at 3-2 on aggregate.
Taiwo Awoniyi was substituted in 78th minute to give Okereke a chance to show his talent, 12 minutes later, Okereke sealed the victory for Nigeria with a superb finish.

The Nigeria U23 are through to the last round of the 2019 U23 AFCON qualifiers after defeating Libya U23 by 4-2 on aggregate. The 2019 U23 Africa Cup of Nations will hold in Egypt.

After 90 minutes, it Nigeria 4-0 Libya, so it ended at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta State.
