The 2018/2019 season Copa del Rey final will see Valencia facing Barcelona. Following a 3-2 aggregate scoreline in the semi final clash between Valencia and Real Betis, the Valencia based team will now play Barcelona who won their semi final encounter by 4-1 on aggregate in the final of this season Copa del Rey.
The first leg of the semi final clash between Valencia and Betis ended 2-2 with Betis playing at home.
The second leg of the semi final started on a high note with no goal in the first half, but Rodrigo Moreno Machado put Valencia ahead 11 minutes into the second half after receiving a great pass from 31-year-old Kevin Gameiro.
The remaining time of the second half could have produced more goals in the encounter, but great defensive works from both sides kept the scoreline in 1-0.
After 90 minutes, it Valencia 1-0 Real Betis, but 3-2 on aggregate after the first leg ended 2-2, Valencia will now face defending Champions Barcelona in the final.
