La Liga: The Yellow Submarine stun Levante in game week 27

Two late goals from Villarreal on Sunday night were enough to defeat Levante in game week 27 of the Spanish La Liga. The victory have moved the Yellow Submarine out of the relegation zone.

The first half of the game ended goalless, but the introduction of Nigeria winger Samuel Chukwueze in the 63rd minute added some flair to Villarreal's attack., though Levante had a goal disallowed in the second as a result of VAR decision, the camera caught a Levante player in an offside position.

An own goal from Roberto Suárez Pier gave the Yellow Submarine the lead in the added time (90'+3) of the second half. Three minutes later, a great ball delivery from Santi Cazorla to Samuel Chukwueze gave the young lad to the opportunity to curl home a great ball that doubled Villarreal lead in the added time (90'+6).

Villarreal have now moved out of the relegation zone and are in 17th position with 26 points on the log.

After 90 minutes, it Levante 0-2 Villarreal, so it ended at the Estadio Ciudad De València in Spain.
