Genoa defeated Juventus to end their unbeaten run in the Italian Seria A, the match which ended 2-0. The Massimiliano Allegri led side played the entire game without the input of their star player Cristiano Ronaldo who was rested. The first half of the encounter ended goalless.
The second half started with no goal until the 72nd minute when Stefano Sturaro put Genoa ahead via a great shot from 20 yards after receiving a pass from Goran Pandev, though there is a questionable response from Mattia Perin Juventus goalkeeper who was caught out of position.
Though Juventus had a goal in the 56th minute but was ruled out after VAR review, a goal that looked so clean.
Goran Pandev caught Perin out of position once again in the 81st minute and placed the ball past the Juventus goalie following a great ball delivery from Kouamé to confirm the Old Ladies defeat.
The Claudio Cesare Prandelli were able to hold their 2-0 lead until the end of the 90 minutes, Juventus unbeaten run in the league this season has ended. The Old Ladies have been unbeaten in the Seria A since their 1-0 home defeat to Napoli on 22nd April, 2018.
After 90 minutes, it Genoa 2-0 Juventus, so it ended at the Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris.
