CAFCC: Rangers quarter-final qualification suffer major setback

Rangers of Enugu on Sunday played a 1-1 draw with Salitas of Burkina Faso, the scoreline is a huge blow to Rangers Caf Confederation Cup campaign as they remained in the 3rd position on group B log, which is not too good for the team.
26-year-old Ifeanyi George opened scoring for Rangers in the 33rd minute after receiving a great pass from Silas Bright. Though the Nigerian outfit were reduced to 10-men in the 29 minutes, following Semiu Liadi second yellow card, the Ogunbote side had to play with 10-men for the remaining minutes of the encounter in Burkina Faso. The first half ended 1-0 in favour of Rangers.

In the early minute of the second half, Salitas got an equaliser through Iliasse Sowadogo in the 50th minute, thanks to Cedric Badolo for the assist. The situation of the game remained the same until the end of 90 minutes.
Ranger will now have to beat Sfaxien in Tunisia and hope Salitas played at least a draw with Etoile du Sahel in Tunisia in the final group B game on the March 17, if they will have to remain in the competition.

After 90 minutes, Its Salitas 1-1 Rangers, so it ended in Burkina Faso.
