2019 AFCON Qualifiers: Nigeria beat Seychelles to retain top spot in Group E

The Super Eagles of Nigeria on Friday defeated Seychelles by 2-1 in their last group game of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.
Odion Ighalo put Nigeria ahead from the spot in the 35th minute of the encounter, following a rough challenge on Ndidi in Seychelles 18-yard-box which made the referee to award a penalty kick to the Super Eagles, a well taken spot, sending Seychelles goalkeeper to a wrong direction gave Nigeria the lead of the afternoon.

Before the half time, a goalkeeping error from Nigeria Goalkeeper Uzoho gave Seychelles a cheap equaliser, thanks to Rody Melanie for the goal in the 41st minute, the first half ended 1-1.
The second half resumed with a lot of expectation, it was Henry Onyekuru's great header that restored Nigeria lead in the 51st minute of the game.

Moses Simon dazzled in Seychelles 18-yard-box and fired a low shot past Seychelles goalkeeper to seal Nigeria victory in the 90th of the game.

After 90 minutes, it Nigeria 3-1 Seychelles, so it ended at Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria.
