2019 AFCON: Aubameyang's Gabon failed to qualify

Gabon will not be in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt after they failed to get the needed victory in today's 2019 AFCON qualifier game against Burundi.
Gabon went into the game with 2 points adrift in which a win would have confirmed their spot in the summer tournament, but could only get a 1-1 draw from the game.

Burundi will now join Mali who already qualified for the tournament from group C. This is the first appearance for Burundi in an Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
This will be another huge disappointment to Aubameyang's national team career and may be forced to retire from the national team.
