West Ham United held Liverpool in a thrilling encounter

Liverpool Monday night were held by the Hammers, as they played a 1-1 draw in a thrilling encounter.

Liverpool opened scoring in the 22nd minute of the game through Senegal forward Sadio Mane, after receiving a great ball from James Milner to give Liverpool the lead but 6 minutes later, West Ham United cancelled Liverpool's lead via a great goal from 28-year-old midfielder Michail Antonio, thanks to an assist from Felipe Anderson. The first half ended with one goal each to both team.

The second half was well loaded with a lot of actions but couldn't produce any goal. Liverpool are now 3 points clear on the log with 62 points, while Manchester City and Tottenham  are 2nd and 3rd with 59 and 57 points respectively.

After 90 minutes, it West Ham United 1-1 Liverpool, so it ended at the London Stadium.
